Cultural Mergers and Integration
The impact of organizational culture on mergers can have profound implications
on the bottom line. Using our profiling tool, companies
can determine whether or not their corporate cultures are compatible.
Often intensive investigation and analysis are done on how to merge the "hard"
aspects of each company, but little attention is given to the unique cultures of
the companies and how to merge the two together.
In the Cultural and Integration Workshop, participants
will acquire:
- An understanding of the strengths and
weaknesses of each organization
- An enhanced appreciation for the relationships
between members of the merging companies
- A desired set of common cultural
characteristics for the new organization
- An action plan to increase the probability for
a successful cultural merger
- Specific strategies on how diverse teams can
communicate from day one
- A strategy for dealing with the stress that
accompanies mergers
This workshop, coupled with on-going team meetings, provides powerful
insights into the personalities of the people involved. Sometimes
"marriages made in heaven" have had some shaky honeymoons and some have ended in
messy divorce. Using this program will minimize the risks and provide
practical, tangible tools for success.
