Enriching Personal Relationships

Regardless of how long people have been together or their individual backgrounds, every person who is involved in a personal relationship can benefit from this workshop.  It is for couples who want better communication skills, retirees, individuals without children or people who are raising children and teenagers, as well as individuals working to integrate blended families.

Relationship Checklist
      *
       Do you have conflicts that go unresolved?

*       Do you wish your loved one would express his/her feelings more often?

*       Is it difficult for you to give and/or receive positive feedback?

*       Do you feel misunderstood by your family?

*       Are there some things you can't talk about?

*       Is life so busy you have trouble scheduling things together?

*       Would you like to have a richer, stronger bond?

If you can answer "yes" to any one or more of these questions, an Enriching Personal Relationships workshop can help.  It is for couples who desire to improve a good marriage, couples who recognize some things aren't working, and families working to appreciate each other for their strengths in order to build stronger relationships.

Learning and Enhancing Communication Skills

You learn and practice more effective communication skills. You improve your ability to:

*       Listen

*       Express feelings

*       Give and receive positive feedback

*       State needs

*       Resolve conflicts

*       Make commitments

First, you focus on the positives; what is already working.  The emphasis is on being aware of feelings, expressing them and accepting them. You have the opportunity to use your new skills to make changes which will strengthen your personal relationships.

These relationships can be strengthened with learning, communication and acceptance.  "Enrichment" means to discover, release and grow.  It is important to clarify that it is not marriage counseling, group therapy, lectures, or a place to hear what you are doing wrong.

Anyone can benefit from this seminar.  If you have a happy family, the seminar will help by showing ways to deepen and enrich your relationships.  If you are planning changes to your existing family, spend time now to build a vital foundation upon which all successful relationships need to be built in order to flourish and grow.

Workshops available in half day and full day commitments.
